    Get rid of:

    R0 - HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Search,SearchAssistant = http://www.ddvufrfhlsusudtrylaawtuf...xpE/wgwbfc.html
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Int ernet Settings,ProxyOverride = 127.0.0.1

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [PtUDFApp] C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\PtUDFApp.exe /T

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [SOFTWARE SHOW] C:\PROGRA~1\CURBCA~1\Delete Grey.exe
    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Daleroadregsbib] C:\WINDOWS\Application Data\First Trust Dale Road\Wave once.exe

Then, hit Ctrl-alt-delete, and end ANY IEXPLORE.EXE process that is running. I see at least three of them.

After you end those processes, go to C:\PROGRAM FILES\ and DELETE the folder named CURB CA something

Then, go to C:\WINDOWS\APPLICATION DATA\ and DELETE the folder named First Trust Dale Road

After you delete them, reboot, then post a new log.

I appreciate your response so much! After taking the steps your recommended, I'm almost back to normal. When I go online, no more big, blue toolbar. Hurray!! My IE did lock up once though when I first went online. Again, thanks for helping.

Cool. Get rid of the following:

    O4 - Startup: Forget Me Not.lnk = C:\Program Files\Broderbund\AG Print\AGremind.exe

Looks like you have two seperate Antivirus programs running (AVG + Norton)... I would get rid of one or the other. Having two will not protect you any better, and it will slow your computer down.

Check out the links in my sig. Most importantly, try a different browser, such as Mozilla Firefox. Read the article about "How did you get infected".....

Success!! You're great!! I really thought that I had uninstalled all the Norton software prior to loading the AVG but don't guess it worked out that way. I think maybe I'm rid of it this time.

Everything is working smoothly now and I appreciate your help soooo much.
But, just in case you should see something else I need to correct, a current log file follows.

    Thanks,
    Kathy
