I have got rid off offer optimizer before you replied by deleteing mniyunny
But I have another problem. When I open folders they take 5 seconds to display, anti-virus software detects viruses "folder.htt" Once the av program deleted all of them(each in every folder) and I could not view the details of the folder on the left anymore so i reinstalled win.
But now when i try to delete those files in Hijackthis that you told me folder.htt it says that it cant and i need to use a special program?

Can you search your HD and find exactly where FOLDER.HTT is for me?

What special program did it say you needed to use?

when I try deleting those 3 folder.htt in hijackthis
it says to runa program like ProcView to shut them down because its in use.
And when I searched using the standard search it only came up with backups of that file in the same folder as HJT.

But... when I select folder options and to see all hidden files that folder.htt is in alot of folders.
But yeah I don't want to try and delete all of those files using an anti-vir. cause it will get rid of the detail section of the folders on the left.....................

Do the suggested fixes again, but first boot into Safe Mode. That way the processes are not active.
