Help with HSA removal guide, please

I'm trying to walk myself through the HSA removal guide but i'm a little confused. First off, I ran Services.msc and found Network Security Service. I disabled it but it wouldn't let me access the properties because of problems with the registry...?

    What exactly was the error that you got. You could take a screenshot for us to look at and then attach the jpg/gif/etc so we can see it.

    actually, I've now made it to step 11 but when I click the Services folder on the left, only one entry is seen on the right, (Default) REG_SZ value not set. In step 4 I saw 'Network Security Service'. Where is everything now? I have the same problem with the next instruction. I go to CurrentControSet\Enum\Root and nothing is there. Is this okay? What do I do?

    This goes along with my previous posts. I've searched around and I think I know part of my problem. In normal mode I went to services.msc and saw Network Security Service. I wasn't able to disable it though. I don't remember the message and now I'm in safe mode at services.msc and its not there anymore. It still doesn't appear in regedit either. Should I be in normal mode to delete the file? I really have no idea what to do but I'm very ready to have this pest out of my life. Thanks for helping.

    Okay, so in normal mode, the service shows up, but you can't disable it? I need to know exactly the error that you are getting....
