Spybot Sticks

Hello out there
I am in the process of trying to remove homesearch via the thorough and detailed instructions provided. however, when i run spybot it sticks (on the same file each time) and i have to abort the process. Can i continue without this or is it essential. I have tried re downloading it but it still happens. Could anyone assist please. Cheers

    When you say it sticks, what do you mean? What part of spybot is it, install/cleaning/other? And what file is it?

    Yeah, please let us know exactly where it stops.

    It is stopping when running "check for problems" on C2.lop Then I cant stop the check or close it down and have to cntrl/alt/delete to end the process.
