    Oh don't be discouraged!
If you ever look at these teams and count the numbers they have compared to us you'll find we are of the smallest teams ...so we measure in quality not quantity!!!
Always been that way and probably always will be.

You'll never find a more proud team either! :fold:

57 days 'till they take us huh? Hmm... Wasn't it 57 days a month ago? :D

At least we're outfolding the next two teams in front of us. We'll still need more power if we plan on keeping the 9 spot though. :(

    Damn Straight!

Trust me, I wasn't planning on rolling over and playing dead! :)

I noticed that too. Too bad for PC Perspective, they are a great group of people. I've thought from time to time that we should join forces but neither team would agree on who should join whom, etc, and starting a new "superteam" from scratch would be out of the question. There are a lot of scrappy teams below us on the rankings that are rising fast and will be displacing some of the top ten teams, including us. We need more aussie folders :)

We've been up. We've been down. We've even survived the loss of our home base. Somehow, we always seem to be in the Top 10.

I don't know what the long-term plans are for this project, but I'd bet that in Football terms we're still in the first half. With the influx of new team members lately (check the Notable Milestones threads) and our solid base of true-blue die-hards, we are in good shape to come roaring back.

Anyway, it all goes to a great cause. Besides - we have more FUN than anyone else. :)

    Discouraged? Never! :)

It's not about winning or losing.........It's how you play the game and we play the game very well, me thinks.

Good things come in small packages............that's us

I'm folding the best I can; I leave it on my home system 24/7 since I have cable.
I also have a second machine that I will be adding to the mix here in a few days once I get the cpu in.. its not a speedster, but it will run the program... so I will have two of them running for team 93 and it is the only thing it will be running.. will jsut sit there running 24/7
Just need to figure out what to name the second one....

You can give it the same name as the first so that you get the points. You can have as many computers as you want folding under the same name. That's how we folders in the top 10 have so many points - we all have dozens of computers folding for us :)

Merrier - heck yes! Hey, what would those parts be doing - gathering dust? We have many top Folders running rigs made of old CPU's, baling wire, and (used) chewing gum. I have a couple old rigs that would have been on the scrap heap by now if it wasn't for the fact that Folding gave them a second life.

You have the right idea, L_N! :Rocker:

Lord_Night, like prime says, you can have as many computers as you want folding with the same username. I have 10 computers folding under "muddocktor" myself, 9 of mine and 1 of my friend's computers.

All you have to do is look at the size of those forums coming up on us and then wonder why they've taken this long to even come close to our ranking. The Tech Report is showing around 100 more active folders than us and the Goons are showing almost 500 more active users and the Mac boys have around 350 more active contributors to F@H. All we need to do is to get more of the people that come here to get the malware removed from their machines start folding for us. I know that we've seen an increase in active members due to this already and hope that this continues. :)

EDIT: It also doesn't hurt the Team MacOS X folks that they have 1 member that turns in 75K points per week either!

Lord_Night, few interesting links to stats pages you may not be aware of.
This one shows all the team folders, points per day for 7 days and i personalised it for you. Numbers in green are days before you catch them at the time of page update.

    http://www.foldingatwork.com/team.jsp?teamID=93&username=Lord_Night

This one is interesting as it gives you certificates for points and Work Units done.
Click on anyone of the names to find how many instants of folding they have.

    http://vspx27.stanford.edu/cgi-bin/main.py?qtype=teampage&teamnum=93

Another Extremely good stats site, full of info and options.

    http://folding.extremeoverclocking.com/team_summary.php?s=&t=93

Lots more info to be had. If you are aware of these links, ignore this post, lol.

Thanks for folding with the Best team. Team #93.

    Awesome. Where at in Ohio?

My former HS teacher that is in charge of the Lab asked my sister, who is still in HS, to get UVJVS_Lab up and running again. I should send him the files and let him get it up.
