trojan horse problem.

I have been having problems trying to install soft ware on my computer whenever i try to install a disc i get a message that says
c:\windows\system32\autoexec.nt. this system file is not suitable for running ms-dos and microsoft windows applications.
I was told i have a virus so when i scan my c drive with avg it tells me i have a trojan horse downloader.agent.2.u. but it cant cure it , so can anyone tell me what to do now. :banghead:
