Hey all,
well i built my buddies PC and all went smooth like butter :D
He decided on a Abit NF-7 (with the soundstorm audio :) board is rev. 2.0
Problem is this :
After installing everything (updates drivers and the like , i told him to install the Abiteq , and that went fine but when he goes to open it he gets a open file error ?
is this just a simple reinstall thing or a known issue or what since i looked all over google and tried searching it on forums and could not find a answer :(

If anyone knows if this is just something small or whatever PLMK
thanks :)

I have the same problem with Abit EQ "open file error"!

I put in down to having an Windows 2003 server OS, but now their is someone else on the planet (I to have scoured the web relating to this problem) maybe it's not.

All i want it for is to keep an eye on temperatures as it's a server doing server type jobs in a remote location.

In fact if anyone has a better idea than Abit's product to do this please let me know.

Happened to us some time ago aswell. from memory, we removed the program and re-installed the latest.

Check this link from the Abit Forum.

    Hope this helps.

I have done this before but it didn't work (opted to modify).
Removed it and re-installed it as you suggested and it's worked.
    Thanks
Not overly impressed with the product looks but it has an email option built in. This is ideal as it can let me know of any problems just like the RAID card, Firewall and AV.
