    I don't like this one:

    O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [WindowsRegKey update] win2kup2date.exe

end the process in the task manager, delete the file manually (search for it) and then delete the HJT entry. Post a new log, we're not out of the woods yet. :rarr:

The best thing you could do for us would be to not ditch us after we've helped you. Stick around, this is a great site. You could also join our folding team, that would truly rock. Check out the links in my sig for more info.

I killed the win2kupdate.exe process but there was no file i could find with the same name. I removed it using ht, and then rebooted. Here's the log.

Whats the deal with the svchost.exe files?

    Kinda strange isn't it?

No, not at all. SVCHOST is a valid file, and at any given time a clean computer will have several instances running. I have 6 at this moment. SVCHOST is the executable part of a service process. Many services are running on a Windows NT-based computer (Windows NT, 2000, and XP).

    Hey, check this out:

Looks like australia is making a serious mark on our folding production. Wouldn't you love to be a part of that? :rarr::D

Your system looks clean. Let me know and I'll close the thread :)
