Right now svc has the SK-7 on sale for $15.99, and the SLK-800A on sale for $28.99... is the SLK-800A worth twice as much? I'm thinking of buying another heatsink, but I don't know which one to buy... I've already got an SK-7 on my main rig...

80mm fans r easier to get..and their quieter..and their more efficient...IMHO i would totally go with the 800...simply because it will be quiter...in addition to that...u the various amount of fans u can buy at 80mm is extraordinary...especially compared to that to 70mm
*correct me if im wrong, but im assuming the 7 in the back of sk-7 means it uses a 70mm fan*

Nope, the SK-7 uses an 80MM fan. I have a rather quiet 53CFM Mechatronics fan on mine.

    39dBa for 53CFM... but it sounds quieter than the 48CFM 36dBa YS-Tech I've got... it's a lower pitch.
