WMP10 and 2k a no go?

Just installed windows 2k with sp4 and all the updates. I try installing WMP 10 and it says it will not work because it will only run in a 32bit enviroment. WTF i am not running a 64bit enviroment. It worked in xp 2 hrs ago!

There must be different versions for each OS. I tried mine I got for XP on 2k and it said it cant run on XP(32-bit). I went to their microsoft to download it and it detected that I was on XP.
