Bumping doesn't help. There are dozens and dozens of logs for us to look at, and only three of us volunteers, using our own personal family time, doing this.

Check out our alternative removal guide.

The files you need to delete are:

    C:\WINDOWS\system32\fkecu.dll
    C:\WINDOWS\system32\d3vq32.dll

Then, the HJT entries you need to clean are:

    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Page_URL = http://start.earthlink.net
    R1 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Default_Search_URL = http://www.earthlink.net/partner/mo...ton/search.html

In HJT you will see checkboxes next to the items I listed. Check the items that I listed and then click the "Fix Checked" button.

That's good. We're almost done. This is a multi-step process, so don't get discouraged.

First, make sure you can view hidden files & folders.

Next, fix the following entry in HJT:

    R0 - HKCU\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Main,Local Page = C:\WINDOWS\SYSTEM\blank.htm

Then hard boot your computer again (pull plug, plug back in, turn on) and post a new log.

Nah, don't worry about the ones in the control panel.. They mean nothing.

Read the article in my sig (How did you get infected....) and switch to FireFox to help keep yourself safe from this garbage.

And most importantly, stick around! This is a great site with great people and you'll be a computer expert in no time if you hang out with all the big brains here ;D
