Ok, here's the deal, I have a wireless network. I have DSL which is connected to my wireless router. And I have Two computers connected to it via wireless pci adapters. I have no trouble getting on the internet, however i can't check my e-mail, or log into any e-mail site. This doesn't happen when i connect the computer directly to the dsl modem so i am assuming its a network configuration issue. I just don't know to fix it. Any Ideas???

Has either wireless client has SP2 or a third party firewall on it? You may have enabled a setting to stop email checking which uses different ports than web.

Check your manual for the router admin page settings.

Also...if SP2 is installed check the firewall settings.

Do ipconfig /all while you are connected to the modem directly. This should show you all the DNS, You might have to enter that into the router configuration.

Are you using an e-mail client like Outlook, or Outlook Express? Maybe there is some block on the pop3 and smtp ports? Sounds weird, but it might be.
