annoying xadso.offeroptimizer popups

Hello. I've been having trouble with these xadso.offeroptimizer pop-ups. I've already ran Ad-Ware 6.0 and Spybot S&D.If anyone can help me out, thank you in advance.

    Welcome to Short Media forums.

    Before doing the following, please Set your computer to show hidden files and folders, Disable System Restore, and Reboot in Safe Mode.

    Once you have done that, Run HijackThis and have it fix the following:

    Fix that then find and delete the file blank.htm. Once you do that you should be all set.

    You can enable system restore and set a new restore point. I am going to close this topic as it appears to have been solved. If you have any more spyware problems feel free to ask here.
