Well first I will give you my computer specs:

2.4 GHZ Processor
512 Ram
80 GB HD
CD burner
CD ROM DRIVE
Floppy

Well my computer freezes ALL the dang time.. I first had a 40 GB hard drive and I thought if i got a bigger better hard drive it would solve the problem.. so i installed the hard drive.. reinstalled windows.. and once i put in the new HD it still froze.. sometimes during the windows installation and stuff like that.. I did get through it though.. does anyone know what could be the problem.. when it freezes I have to leave it of for about 5 minutes or else it will freeze during start up.. thanks.. hellp soon as possible.. the computer freezes probably anywhere from 10-30 minutes from start up.. usually playing music, playing flash games, burning a cd, or sometimes i think just talking online.. please help ASAP thanks bye

Download the CD image or the floppy disk image, take the appropriate steps to get them onto the media they're designed for, and then run the test on your PC by setting whatever device you downloaded an image for as your primary boot device.

Thrax +1 that's my bet too. Problems with your memory. Second guess would be heat to processor but try memtest first.

Yep, those are the first 2 steps to check.

I've had several system (Lately) that had dust problems. Make sure the CPU Heatsink, the North Bridge heatsink are free of dust bunnies. If the North bridge or the CPU are getting hot, that will freeze your system.
