I think my computer's screwed... but maybe someone can help me out?

I don't know where I went to cause all this, but this is getting rediculous. I think I've got some sort of trojan or worm on my computer that's hitting some server to download more viruses. It all started in internet explorer, even when I was offline (I have dial-up), if I'd open a browser window, my anti-virus (Avast) would go off for several viruses and Spybot would do the same thing for the same files that Avast was catching. Well, after fighting with XP to get IE reinstalled, I tried it all again and things got a little better. I don't get any errors while offline, but still whenever I get online it does the same thing. Even when I'm not doing anything and I let the computer just sit online idle. It'll just out of no where spring up like 6-8 viruses that are trying to install and spybot is catching registry changes by the same files. Also, I'm getting Bad Image errors, certain windows image files are coming up as invalid. Here's my hijack this log. Can someone PLEASE help me! You see to have a version of the Home Search Assistant problem, but some of your R0 and R1 entries have been set tou about:blank instead.

Try this Removal Guide. Let us know if that helped, post a fresh log for review when you are done.
