Need a little help, RSVP page

My brother and future sister-in-law asked me to make a website for them for their wedding. They asked me to make an rsvp page so that people can rsvp online. They don't want anyone to know who has/has not rsvped.

Anyone have any ideas?

    Give every guest a login and a unique id to the RSVP page where they can set what their status is :)

    You could write something simple in a dynamic language (eg.. PHP or ASP) and then log it in a text file or a db :)

    You know were I can get some tutorials on how to write it?

    I have been out of the game for a while.

    lol, I never thought I would be making cinderella graphics.
