are these decent speeds

I ran atto on my main rig to see how i was doing. Is this average for my main machine? Its a 2500+ @ 2GHz (10x200) 1GB ram 160 sata nf7-s xp pro

    decent new ide drives (non raptor) hit 50 to 60,000 empty. less the fuller they are. Raptors are faster but are a differant breed of ide. raptors are the only sata drive faster then their normal pata equiv that I know of. Better str and better access time
