Winamp plugin creator in trouble

It seems <a target="_blank" href="http://www.geisswerks.com/">Ryan Geiss<a> the creator of popular Winamp plugins like Geiss, Monkey and Smoke is having a spot of trouble with his employers.
AOL has told me that thursday is my deadline to find a new position within the company, or get laid off. I'm still exploring what's available, but in either case, it means that my work with Winamp plug-ins will be either severly impacted, or will cease. It is a sad day for visualizations. But it's been a great two years working on them.

I imagine most Winamp users will be quite sad to see this fellow disappear out of the picture.

Geiss is sweet. I usually use G-force or Tripex, but Giess started it all (and is still more stable for me than the other 2).

Geiss also made one of the only screensavers ever worth running.
