Time-elapse software?

Alright, heres the story. The place my girlfriends mom and my girlfriend work is haunted. The toilets flush randomly and you can just feel this earie sense when your there at certain time. So my plan is that I wanted to get some software that will connect to my camera via USB and take photos like everyone 30 minutes or so. I was just wondering if there was any software out there that will do this for me?

Also I have a Canon PowerShot A70 in case that helps any.
