This is quite a cool concept. I just caught this on Slashdot

"It looks like Nintendo is preparing a wireless peer-to-peer network of Nintendo DS ' to allow a new way of playing games online. Each Nintendo DS could includes a repeater hub to extend and share an 802.11 signal. A thread on GameCubicle unveils more, including a service called MarioNette and some disturbing marketing pieces with hidden images and messages."

Check out this thread on gamecubicle for discussion.

    N > x (Nintendo > anything)

Anyways, this DS is insane. N64 graphics in a handheld, built-in wi-fi, dual screens (one touch-sensitive), backwards compatibility, stereo sound...PSP is alright, too .. but Nintendo whoops arse :D

    Both are touch-sensitive :)

I liked the idea since I saw it the first time at ign. This could totally kick ass. Or maybe I'm just too big a nintendo fan? ;)

Well... I'm not completely sure about that. It's just what I've seen/read so far about it. The thread linked to above is pretty interesting, but I'll wait for Nintendo's comments before drawing any conclusions...
