Bloody Internet Connection

Hello there!

I'm back, but this time I've encountered another problem on my computer. I can't explain why I cannot download anything of the internet via my wireless Buffalo card. The light is on when it's in, but for some reason, no downloading.

The question is: How can I improve the speed of the wireless connection?
and
Could the fault be in that the signal is too weak for the
laptop to recognise?

There was another problem with the laptop in regards to the Internet, but might be unrelated to networking. When I go onto a web page and fill in my username and password details, I am then asked to do it again when I go onto a web page in a different part of the website. Please help. Thanks. :)

    Just wanted to say that I have already have solved the point about the username and password details. I put security on low in the internet options to enable this. And I believe that this could also solve my first point about the connection speed.
