Good job RIAA, you lost another 700+ customers. Who's in charge of public relations over there anyway? -KFThirty-two people at 26 U.S. universities who allegedly used their university networks to distribute music files on P-to-P networks were among defendants in the new lawsuits filed Thursday. However, the defendants are unnamed. The RIAA filed 744 such lawsuits in late August. In December 2003, the U.S. Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia ruled that the RIAA does not have the authority under U.S. law to subpoena the names of alleged P-to-P file traders from Internet service providers.

wow, lmao.
Public Enemy can't have been too fond of that.
I use p2p. In the last month I've bought around 8 new CD's.
I like music. I pay money for music. Take away p2p, I won't check stuff out, I won't buy so much. Those who use p2p only probably wouldn't buy stuff anyway.
The RIAA has it's head up it's ass.
I use P2P only. Even before I got into it ... how much music did I buy? Maybe a cd every few months. How much do I buy now? Maybe a cd every few months. AH! WAIT! What was that? You mean I, like many people, don't buy CDs very often anyways? Oh yes. DEHH!
Besides, the music I listen to is relatively hard to find in stores around here ... all anyone wants is fvcking [c]rap. Ten bucks says I couldn't find a CD I'd want in the local Sam Goody, or K- or Wal- Mart. So piss off, you RIAA dumbsh*ts.
