Hi :), Like usual I run Ad-Aware SE with no problems but for the last 20x + when i'v run SpyBot it's come back with the same things and same situation.

* cydoor has a TICK and gets fixed
* DSO EXPLOIT I'M NOT CONCERNED ABOUT THEM
* n-Case has a tick but doesn't get fixed
* New.Net has no tick

Is there any problems there?

Image 1 is scan before fix and Image 2 is scan after fix.

Thanks for any help

    Last I heard, SpyBot S&D havent been updating the program so its out of date by a long ways.

    Hi mmonnin, yeah that is true but my Spybot found a new definition just a few days ago. SpyBot is really annoying as a software now.

    Thanks

    Spybot still gets updated. It is still valid, and still helpful. It finds things that AdAware doesn't, and vice-versa. You should run both to stay safe.

    I thought they were concentrating on a new non-free version?

    Have you tried running it in Safe Mode? :)

    Hi Profdlp, I havn't run SpyBot in safe mode for a while so i'll give it a try and see what happens even though I doubt its going to make much difference.

    Thanks

    I'm not sure about n-case, but New.Net likes to stay resident. Booting in Safe Mode should get you around that.

    There is also a good chance it will be in your Add/Remove Programs list. Try that whilst still in Safe Mode. You might also want to do a registry scan and remove any mention of it you find there.

    Good Luck! :thumbsup:

    Hi, Profdlp...thanksfor the good luck msg :) . So I ran Spybot in safemode and it didn't quite fix New.Net and New.Net didn't show up in Add/Remove programs (all in safemode). I also looked for anything which looked strange but it was all ok BUT 1 thing which spybot did clean was CYDOOR. I also ran Spybot again in normal mode and everything is the accept CYDOOR doesn't show it face.

    can I just also mention that if you look in at the images than you'll 3 THICK GREEN TICKS. those ticks always show for the same things everytime I run SpyBot.

    Thanks :thumbsup:

    I have been using Spybot S&D V1.3, which does get updates, then use Ad-aware SE Plus, and finish off with Spy Sweeper 2.2. Each seems to find something the other misses. Whenever I have to fix other computers, I always run these 3 before I do anything else. It is surprising just how much crap is on some people's computers and they wonder why they don't work properly.
