Asus P3V133

edited October 2004 in Hardware
I recently istalled an Asus P3V133 board with an Intel Pentium III 866mhz. It booted up fine initially. It actually booted up as soon as I plugged the power cord into the power supply. After it restarted several times, as Windows likes to do, it was running great. I shut the system down to install a sound card. When I went to restart the system, nothing. It will not boot, no lights, nothing. I thought that the power supply might have dieded so I tryed another one. Same thing. I then tried another processor and you guessed it, same thing, nothing. Changed back to old board and processor and system is back and running.

Any ideas on what the problem might be, I have looked through the manual but found nothing.

Thanks
Bob

Make sure you installed the Power on switch correctly.

Also make sure any & all jumpers are in the correct position, especially the "Clear Cmos" jumper
