    Welcome to Short-Media

irotgqqt.exe is at least part of your problem, if not all of your problem. Lets try to get rid of it and some other stuff.

Reboot in Safe Mode, run HJT and fix (delete) the following:

    O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [IROTGQQT] c:\windows\system32\irotgqqt.exe /install

While still in Safe Mode, locate and delete the following file:

    c:\windows\system32\irotgqqt.exe

Then, will still in Safe Mode, locate all the random letter named files in the TrojanHunter list (bbfsyfdj.exe, benfqawp.exe, etc.) change the extensions from "exe" to "xxx" and move them to a quarantine folder you create (e.g., c:\quarantine).

Reboot normal, check things out, and repost a new HJT log in this thread.

Hi vanagon40, thnxz for your quick reply - I really appreciate it.

I have attached an updated HJT below, and none of the other files appear on the Trojan Hunter list now.

A funny thing happened about this though. When I ran HJT to delete the IROTGQQT file, it had gone. I noticed though that there was another file in 04 with random letters (OX ...) and the same setup, one that was also in systems32 with all the same characteristics as those listed on the trojan list I gave. Each time I ran HJT it changed this file to another one on the trojan list.

I deleted the one on the HJT I ran in safe mode, renamed and moved all the files but noticed something else. There were several other files with random letters, using the same icon as those I quarantined, and with a File version of 1.0.0.18 (instead of 1.0.19 like the others), but these fiels were named 'Graphics Checker'. I left them alone, just in case, but wonder if they are also related

Anyway, hopefully this has cleared things up a bit

Unfortunately, I doubt that everything is gone if you notice new files appearing and changing names. Post a new log after a day or two with any symptoms you are still having.

If a new log is necessary, please start a new thread :) Thanks
