"Problems" with new video card.

edited October 2004 in Hardware
I recently bought an eVGA 6800 [128 mb ddr] and since then have been noticing lockups every so often as well as longer boot times.

Is there a reason for this...

Please explain.

What was your old video card? If it was an ATI you'll want to run driver cleaner to make sure you don't have some type of conflict. If that didn't clear things up, I'd backup your files and do a format and reinstall.

    Your underpowered.

My old card was a geforce fx 5200.

And I doubt being underpowered is my problem.

I have a 500 watt ultra- xconnect psu.
