yup, only here. I don't think it's a signature cause I couldn't even get to this thread just now.
I had to try 3 times before I was able to load the page...
I saw where you thought it was not a sig issue but it could still have been. If you would have said I know for a fact it isn't a sig then it would be different. And since mmonnin also saw an error with my previous sig, I just thought it could have been the same issue, but oh well.
How do I do that? will that affect my login and stuff at other sites?
Tools>Internet Options>Advanced>Restore to defaults
Also could be an issue with SP2, I have seen some secure sites screw up with SP2, even though SM isn't a secure site it still could be an issue you are having.

Geez dude, why are you making such a big deal out of it? didn't I say you weren't the problem? :shakehead

Thanks for the tip, unfortunately it didn't work.
I don't think SP2 is responsible as I've been using it since the beta days and never had this problem before up until 2 days ago.
I've tested IE6 with the latest round of fixes from Microsoft. Browser didn't crash. Tested it against FireFox, same again nothing.
Il keep digging around incase there is something that would cause IE to stop functioning. We stopped using the full WYSIWYG interface because there were browser issues. Il do some investigation over @ VBulletin.com.
Thanks for the link and the tests you've done. Yeah I saw that the other day when looking for a solution and even though that procedure only applies to W95/98/Me I tried it anyway but it didn't work...
Thanks Shorty, I appreciate your concern but don't worry about it. I don't want you to waste your time on this specially when I'm the only one complaining. There must be something wrong with my browser for sure.

Yeah but I am interested now. If it is a bug somewhere, It'd be useful to know so I can report back to VBulletin on it

that is totally bizarre. Try disabling javascript, or resetting IE to all defaults.

Wow, I'm kinda suprised that Equito wouldn't know how to do that.
I was thinking it could have been in one particular person's sig but I guess not.
I didn't even remember that a "Reset Defaults" button was there.

I just had the error 3 times while replying here and once replying to another thread:
I didn't mean for my post to come across in a negative way. Sorry if it did seem that way, my apologies.

Try that. Sounds quite feasible.
The item that would most likely crash would be some of the javascript used to power the editor.
Im gonna mock up a test version of SM that doesn't use them. Il pm you a link for unit testing.
