Riva Tuner question

I have a question about one function in in this program.It is in the menu-Driver Settings-Custumize System setings-Compatibility.In the bottom of the page there is an option-Enable motherboard chipset compatibility mode!I believe this is because my motherboart has an nVidia chip.But what does this option do?Can it make my 5900xt run fastar or can it coase damage to my PC?
