Half-Life 2 AntiAliasing Problem Fixed

And NVidia users rejoice...

The HL2DB forums have a recap of a recent Half-Life 2 IRC chat event. Among the many things mentioned (and there's some good stuff), one of the Valve guys mentions the anti-aliasing problem which had so many people's panties in a twist, is now fixed. On all cards. So look forward to AA goodness. Thanks jd.

I'll be the first one to shout for joy. Considering the majority of HL2 players will be using NVidia-based cards, it's good that Valve fixed the issue.

For a large majority of will-be HL2 players, 800x600 will be "Cranking up the quality."

I play at 1600x1200 with 16x FSAA, 8x aniso at 90Hz on CS anyhow.

I used to play at 1600x1200 @ max detail on my GF4MX420. Never really got to enable anti-aliasing.
