Can't start in Safe-Mode to correct problems. I have Windows XP Pro.
I tried to start in safe-mode, the computer flashed and re-started again. I've tried this time and time getting the same results. The "System Restore" want let me restore back no matter how far back I try to restore. However, I can start the computer normally.

Can someone advise me what I can do to resolve the problem.

Thanks in advance... gismo

Why do you want to go into Safe Mode? What occurred (what did you do...) to bring about the need to go into Safe Mode?

I just wanted to see if I could get into safe-mode after having the problem below:

I was trying to get in safe-mode to delete the TVM.exe file. I couldn't get into safe-mode then, and now, it's doing the same thing. When I was able to delete the TVM file I wanted to see if that would correct the safe-mode problem as well. I found that it didn't!

"The screen flick to blue and all of a sudden the computer re-starts".

I would suggest you take this over to the Spyware/Virus,Trojan Discussion Forum. Repeat you question and that you're trying to remove TVM.exe. I think the folks in there will help.

    Cheers!

Sometimes USB keyboards will not work if not properly set up in the BIOS to enable USB keyboard support.

If you are using a USB keyboard then if you have a PS/2 keyboard...plug that in and try.
