Desktop syndication?

Alright. I keep active desktop windows on my desktop that display links of new posts and news updates for various websites.

I was wondering if Short-Media could have a webpage that ONLY shows hot threads? Ideally I'd like to make it a simple 400 x 400 cube on my desktop. I don't need an RSS feed.

    I can certainly do that :)

    Il add it to my to-do. Have to structure so it doesn't hammer the server every two minutes, we have enough of that already with MM posting articles ;D

    Just need the load to slacken off once this article thats getting us hammered has passed :)
