Something looks different???

So what caused it? Anyone know how to fix it?
I have tried changing back and forth from the classic to default start menu...
btw, I am running XP w/ sp2.

    This should work. you've changed back to classic mode.

    right click on the taskbar > properties > Start Menu TAB > choose 'start menu'.

    I hope that is what you want.

    I want to keep the classic format, but why am I getting a big black bar where my XP Pro is supposed to show up?

    I used to have a program that allowed me to change that... I can't remember what it was though :scratch:. It had the word clock in it... hmm

    Perhaps you can download it and have a look if you can change your Start Menu from that nasty black bar.

    I would personally like to get rid of the wasted space altogether. :D
