A hardware-esque question

I have this digital voice recorder and I was wondering if there was a wire that I could plug one end into the headphone plug on the recorder and the other end to the microphone plug on my sound card.

Kind of like that TI graph cable, but with the appropriate sized connectors.

Ya, I didn't think anyone here could help. I guess I am going to have to delete the files off of the recorder.

Thanks for reading the post though.

Well you got to give us a bit of time and a bit more info. Does the DVR have 1/8 mono out or stereo headphone jack.

If so...go to radio shack and get an 1/8 (mono or stereo) male to male connector and plug it into your sound card. Keep volue low on the DVR and adjust the gain input of your sound card.

You may try bumping up the volume on the DVR but do so carefully as to not overmodulate the signal.

    You're welcome.
