sata card

I was going to get an sata card and hd. I need to know if I bought a sata card would I be able to use that as a primary hd and load windows on it from scratch. :confused:

    The short answer is "Probably".

    You have to make sure that your motherboard supports booting from a SCSI card though (even though this will be SATA, your motherboard will probably call it a SCSI card). If you can select "SCSI" in your motherboard's boot order menu, you should be good to go.

    You'll also need a floppy drive. What version of windows do you plan on installing?
