I got it today and I'm rather impressed with its performance but very disappointed with the clip system because it doesn't come attached to the HS. This plus its huge size makes it an absolute pain in the a$$ to set in place while working inside the case.
Both perform just about the same but IMHO, the SLK900 is better all around, easier to mount and cheaper.

Here are my results (F@H running to account for load / the name of the pics correspond to HS/fan size):

With 80mm Mechatronics Fan (4200 rpm / 53 CFM / 39 dba} the SLK900A performs 2c better.

With 92mm Zalman fan (2800 rpm / 48 CFM / 36 dba) the SI-97 performs 1c better.

hey, thanx for the info EQ! so would it be safe to say the SI-97 is a good solution for someone looking for quiet air-cooling since it cools better with a 92mm fan that has a lower dba

    You're welcome!

TBH, I can't hear the difference between 39 and 36 dba and since this thing has a few disadvantages over the SLK900, I wouldn't recommend it.
