xadso.offeroptimizer, yes, another one!
Hey I keep getting, like many others it appears, xadso pop-ups and cannot get rid of the. I have Ad-Aware and its fully updated but it does not detect anything. I have read through many other posted logs but cant find any entries in common when i run Hijack This. Any help would be very much appreciated. And also, do you people just do this on your own time??

Robert,
You have a lot of ka ka - poo-doo on your machine most probably because of P2P file sharing. Even Kazaa lite is not safe. Also, the infections that are on your computer are probably imbedded into the files that you download through sharing. The first thing that I can suggest is that you uninstall kazaa lite. I would also suggest that you try this http://download.nai.com/products/mcafee-avert/stinger.exe
download it and run it is a stand alone search and destroy. next go to http://housecall.trendmicro.com/ and http://www.pandasoftware.com/activescan/ and use both of the online scanners. keep a pencil handy and write down and messages they give and post them along with a new HJT log. we will see whats up.
