Hmmm...no booster in that one i'm afraid. At least not with 2 sticks of ram.
If that board would have been m-atx i'd be all over it.

EDIT// I should also mention that i was wrong when i said earlier that we wouldn't see a Nvidia based mainboard from Abit again. But i can't understand why it only have 2 dimms. Especially for those who have 2X512 sticks.

    I'm guessing there was a demand for the mobo. A cheap S754 Sempron 3100+ combo, OC'd to 2.5-2.6ghz will outperform a P4 3.6 and all OC'd Athlon XP-Mobiles

10/1 says the heatsink was left off for purposes of the picture. Have to advertise that logo!

Correct me if i'm wrong, but Newcastle/Sempron/whatever with 512kb cache at 2.5 gig isn't much faster than a mobile barton at the same clockspeed right?

    Nope! A A64 outperforms a AXP clock for clock, especially if memory access/bandwidth plays any part. No one here would pick a S462 AXP 2.2ghz 3200+ over a A64 S939 2.2ghz 512K 3500+ or even a A64 S754 2.2ghz 512K 3200+

    A64 Newcastle 512K Cache
    Sempron 3100+ 256K Cache

    (By inference) A Sempron 3100+ 256K @ 2.5ghz will give you the performance of ~2.3ghz 512K - between a 3200+ 512K & 3400+ 512K

Tech Report Athlon 64 3800+ and FX-53 processors contains XP_Mobile at 2.4ghz benchmarks

    Sempron 3100+ Overclocking

    <table style="width: 100%; text-align: left;" border="1" cellpadding="2"><tr><td>Corsair PC4000 1GB & R9800XT</td><td>3DMark 2001se</td><td>Super Pi 1M</td><td>Q3A</td><td>AquaMark3</td></tr><tr><td>Athlon 64 3400+</td><td><b>22110</b></td><td>39</td><td>437</td><td>47.87</td></tr><tr><td>Sempron 3100+ @ 2.52ghz </td><td>21976</td><td><b>36</b></td><td><b>443.8</b></td><td><b>48.47</b></td></tr><tr><td>P4 3.4E</td><td>20524</td><td>39</td><td>406.8</td><td>48.06</td></tr><tr><td>Athlon 2800+</td><td>19762</td><td>48</td><td>363.3</td><td>45.54</td></tr><tr><td>Sempron 3100+</td><td>19216</td><td>48</td><td>355.8</td><td>45</td></tr></table>

Of course I could be wrong about the OC'd XP-M numbers....
