More annoying bestfriends.scr

Hi everyone,
A curse on the house and family of the bozo who wrote bestfriends.scr. But that being said, I didn't know about it and clicked on the link (stupidly) and so now my AIM sessions randomly go away with "WTF LOOK [url]hxxp://www.xzon.net/bestfriends.scr[/url] ?!!!??!?" I have followed all the instructions on the bestfriends.scr Sticky and have also scanned with SpyBot, AdAware, and Norton with no success. The main problem I have, I think, is that my hijackthis log doesn't show any of the files listed on the bestfriends.scr Sticky page. I hope you can help me. Here is my HijackThis log:

Sorry for the late response. We have been really busy the past few weeks.

Boot into Safe Mode (press F8 at the BIOS screen when rebooting) then do the following:
O4 - HKLM\..\Run: [Windows Media Player] MediaPIayer.exe
O4 - HKLM\..\RunServices: [Windows Media Player] MediaPIayer.exe

Fix those entries then find and delete MediaPIayer.exe, boot back into normal mode, and post a new log.

I posted it in the other forum: Here's how to get rid of this thing: end the processes yahoomsg.exe or yahoomsgr.exe with taskkill. search your system or system32 folder for YahooMsg.exe or YahooMsgr.exe and delete them. Then run adaware or spybot. This thing prevents regedit from being open to long as well as you task manager. If that doesn't work, try downloading this: AIMFix

Remember to remove the away message from your list. Just because the virus is gone doesn't mean that it will automatically clean the away message for you.
