I saw this at tigerdirect: http://www.tigerdirect.com/applications/searchtools/item-Details.asp?EdpNo=683394&sku=A46-4036&CMP=EMC-TIGEREMAIL&SRCCODE=WEM771IP It allows you to display dvd player signals, game consoles, whatever... on your pc monitor. It lists progressive scan as a feature, but I thought only HD component inputs could do progressive scan. Can someone elaborate on this?

If my memory serves me correctly, S-video only supports 480i video signals. You'll have to use component (R-G-B) for 480p or 1080i. I don't see how progressive scan could be used with this unit?

I don't think s-video supports progressive scan. Don't take my word for it though, I'm not the best with this stuff...
