File Transfer form Mac to Windows?

New
I have a situation where a mac person is trying to DNL windows files such as windows font files and exe files and stuff to transfer it to a production XP machine running an industrial embroidery machine. They want to keep it isolated from the web for business reasons.
She has been able to DNL them to her Mac, running OSX 10 or might be the next one up form that, the dude is a complete Mac fruit, please forgive the humor..., anyway, so I 'm pretty positive that he's running the latest unless a new ones come out in the last 90 days...
But, when she sends them to her thumb drive and then plugs the thumb drive into the windows machine, the files come in as an unrecognizable windows files and will not load.
Is that because the Mac has to write the file to a Mac file which is not compatible with windows like DOS is to NTFS?
If so is there a cheap interface that I can have them use to over come this issue?
Thanks,

Not tried for a year or two so may be different now.
Make sure it is formatted with FAT32 and the Mac should not have a problem reading it (I think)
There are some fonts that are cross compatible and others that are not. See the following link for cross compatible fonts

It's always best, if working on a MAC in Photoshop or Illustrator, for example, to convert FONTS to outlines then transfer the PS or ILL file to the PC for use.
/me whips out mac laptop
First of all, do the files HAVE to go from a pen drive? Cause then I'd be pretty useless, cause i don't have one of those myself. If you can, get the mac on the same network as the pc.
Yes, OSX can browse a network full of pcs. I know, I've put files on this laptop from nearly every other computer on this network. (5 Windows systems)
I haven't tried getting any files from the mac back to the pcs though, I may have to try that out sooner or later.
Go into the system preferences of your mac, then go into sharing. At the top, you'll see the computer name, and it says other computers on the network will be able to reach your computer there. Go to the services tab and see if personal file sharing and windows sharing are enabled... My experiences with networking with windows xp and on mac osx have been great, I think that should be all you need to do. Oh yeah, go to the firewall tab and make sure it's allowing personal file sharing and windows sharing.
If you're still having problems, tell me and i'll actually try transferring some files from this mac back to the pcs.
You are right, they do not want to connect to a network and if they end up connecting to the network I'd just buy a wireless nic for their airport and she could DNL right to that machine, but the guy is so anti MS and extreamly paranoid about bout getting a bug or MS getting his "information" he's really freaking out about having a MS box in his house to begin with but the embroidry machine they have is a brother which is not supported by Mac. So he's had to give in and he's fighing big time.
Yea... It's dumb... but its also his call too, I'm just trying to help out.
For now the file transfer has to be via a pen drive or CD except CD's get expensive... when you only copy over tiny bits of data....

But as TheGr81 says...he can read PC files from the MAC on the network. Simply put or pull the files to xfer.
