Network printing

ok I had a break in the case today... lol

I was able to get all my puters to talk to each other on my network although I'm not exactlly 100% sure what I did... lol

But now I got it where I have maped my laptop to my main rigs hds and what not. So now I'm trying to print to the printers that are connected and installed on my main rig.

I have been able to connect to both my printers on my rig from my notebook, the problem is now that when I send a test page to either of them they won't print. My Canon printer que will not get or show a test page being sent and on my Dell printer que shows a print in the que but it never comes through the printer.

What do I need to look for in tyring to fix this problem?

Thanks,
"g"

does it say no printer available? i know on my pc when i mapped the printer to my laptop my ip changed and so it didn't work. it worked the first time but stopped a little while later. you can also get a little print server and connect that to your network. i ended up doing that so my main rig didn't have to be on and then i set it as a static ip. works great:)
