popuppers

hi,

I seem to be having a problem with popuppers.com. it keeps starting my firefox without me asking it to, and minimizing it to the right hand corner of my screen. my sisters was using my pc over the weekend and all of a sudden this seems to be happening.

I have scanned my pc with trend micro, ad aware, adware spy, pest patrol, spybot and hijackthis. unfortunately nothing seems to find the problem. I also have zone alarm pro which i thought would have blocked it, but didn't. im hoping someone can help me as i am going insane trying to get rid of it.

here is my hijackthis log if it helps:

    Open Task Manager & end process on the following:
    180ax.exe
    medload.exe

    Then go to C:\windows and delete those files manually.

    Scan with hijackthis and tick the boxes next to all the following entries, then close all browser and explorer windows, and hit the "Fix checked" button.

    Reboot into safe mode by tapping f8 whilst booting up and delete;

    C:\WINDOWS\qvulwxuj.exe< file

    Reboot normally after doing the above, rescan with hijackthis, then post that log here please.

    You may want to consider removing AdwareSpy. http://www.spywarewarrior.com/rogue_anti-spyware.htm

    Yes, I am having trouble with the webhost. It goes down way too much. I am currently trying to get a domain for it. If you want to download it, just click the link in the last line of my signature. A friend is hosting it for me there until the webhost gets straigtened out.

    I am going to close this topic now as it appears to have been resolved. If you have any more problems, feel free to ask here.
