    Yep everything counts :D
    1x makes all the difference.

What I like the most is that it spins at 314,304 rpm.
If you could open the drive, the thing would go into orbit. :eek2:

I use Daemon Tools ver. 3.29

yes holy hell imagine somethign spinning at 528870 RPM, if a cd is spinning that fast, it sure is in pieces in no time.

Go for it Tex, I would love to see what speed you could get with your setup. If it was real the CD would take off to the moon it would be spinning that fast :D

I'm stuck at robs folks in Colorado. Remind me when I get home !The drives hit around 200,000 on normal atto in their present configuration. I had to sell a drive off and had one go bad. The old setup hit 240,000 but I was basicaly maxing the controller out. Might be fun to see with cdrom emulation on the scsi hardware raid. Might blow the top off sanda's benchmark actually. Can you see a cd spinning so fast it could levitate the computer? Or slice thru the front like a circular saw?

    hehe.

Next, on CSI. A man is found brutally murdered next to his computer, a cd stuck halfway into his neck. Word has it he overclocked his CD drive to beat a man known only as "Tex" at a benchmark. I guess he did not know what this "Tex" was capable of. Authorities are still investigating!
