some of you know that i won the SM grand opening prize, so i can put those parts in my computer and replace the ones i wanted to, and move the ones from my current system down the line of the systems in my house, as a result with some older hardware, i will have one extra system, and i don't have a monitor for the extra one, so i will be buying a new monitor to replace mine, and move the others down the line.

I need a 19in CRT flat monitor, and looking for suggestions, perfer black, but if you can find me good deals on biege or whatnot i will consider, price range around 200ish, to 250ish, come on now, i know you guys know the good stuff, show em!!

There is a free program called RealVNC.

Why do you need a monitor for every computer you have? Is someone going to be using each one so they need it complete?

Heck even a KMV would be cheaper than a monitor.

I know what will solve this problem...give the old parts to me.

Even better...Give ME the door prize so you wont have to do all the switching. Instant solution right there.

    True. I have 7 towers on 2 monitors via 2 KVM's.
    They work very well. :)

Daisy chain them bad boys (KVMs) and then you should be able to have just 1 monitor. Unless you need/want 2.

I had them daisy chained for awhile. I just recently got the second monitor so I could set the towers up a little better, and farther apart.

OK so the line of computers will be used and not just folders just sitting there.

yes they will be used, only very slight usage, my parents play cards on the internet with machine excluding mine, so like 99% of the CPU usage will be for folding!!!!!

I'm happy with my Dell branded Sony Trinitron 19"er, dell has a refurb store that might have the black version of mine it's the Dell P992 for black and P991 for beige. Despite having a Dell monitor I don't have a Dell computer, Thank God.
