I need a program that runs in the background that is LEGALLY FREE(no unlimited TRIAL ed.) that will maybe send a popup to say that I have "SOMETHING" todo at a certain time, like 10 or so minutes ahead of the time.

Just lost out on something big becuase I lost track of time yesterday.

See if Anytime Deluxe will work for you-- ridiculously undervalued program. Low Priced, also, and you can save the rest of the money and save up for Outlook or something better.

Also, see if Evolution becomes available for Windows of your flavor for a simple calendar thing and time manager. If I remember, will check and see what Widnows flavors it works with (versions and subversions, known incompatibilities and dependencies).
