ACL and Wildcard mask problem
Lo there
I am currently ACL's and have hit upon Wildcard Masking now, i understand the principle of it but am getting a bit stuck.
Heres my question
Subnet 150.16.3.84 to provide groups of 100 hosts
Create an access list to permit 14th subnet, upper half range of hosts access.
Now i think i have done my subnetting right
IP : 150.16.3.84
Ds/m 255.255.0.0
New Mask 255.255.255.128 ( Will give 126 hosts per subnet)
So first Subnet is 150.16.0.128
14th Subnet is 150.16.6.128 (although when i work it out its 150.16.6.0)
Here is the bit where i am stuck, how do i go about checking the upper half range of the 14th subnet (so in the 14th subnet check the upper half of that subnet before the 15th) and allowing them access.
