As i play half life 2 i think my leadtek 6800 gets alittle toasty, sooooo i touch and its very warm

so i was thinking of slapping this on

I need to go semi cheap cause i am now broke for life :mullet: but will it do better than stock 6800 cooling on the leadtek?

Gnome, as you know, you & i have the same card. Mine was getting a little toasty too, but mainly due to me overclocking it too much. Anyways, I looked for a different cooling solution, originally thinking that i'd watercool it, saw the price of the DangerDen block & changed my mind.

I eventually settled on the Arctic Cooling Rev.4 NV5 cooler, it's lowered the temps, not by much it has to be said (about 5c) but it's also quieter.

Go buy yourself an Exos and this (http://www.koolance.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=165) and Gnome, just get that and adaptors, 'nuff said.

Nice but unfortunately it wont fit our cards. :(
