WMP9 Video Playback on WMP10, stuttering!

Aight people. I've got a little one for ya.

Just finished building an Athlon 64 system for a client, works great apart from the fact that when I playback WMP9 encoded video's on WMP10, it intermittently stutters. All other video playback is fine e.g mpeg etc.

All drivers fully bang up to date, as well as OS and hardware.

Specs are as follows:

AMD Athlon 64 3200 Newcastle 130nm (Socket 754)
Abit KV8 Pro (Socket 754) Motherboard
Western Digital Caviar Special Edition 200GB 2000JD SATA 8MB Cache
Corsair 512MB DDR Value Select PC3200 CAS2.5 Kit
MSI GeForce FX 5200VTD 128MB DDR VIVO TV-Out/DVI (AGP)

I've tried various AGP Bios settings, aperture size alterations, that sort of thing, no joy.

Funny thing is, if you load a wmp9 video up in Windows Movie Maker 2, it plays flawlessly.

Any idea's?

Thanks in advance.

Spinner

Edit: Also, IE crashes and throws up an error report if I visit any web pages which uses WMP9 live content e.g http://www.spinnershomepage.co.uk/mainpage.htm

Okay well I've fixed it. It turns out that it was the NVidia ForceWare 66.93's causing the problem. Wierd. 45.23's off Windows Update seem to be working fine now.

    Cheers.

Also, it seems SP2 doesn't like my dodgy coding on my website, that's why it gives out an error and crashes after a few minutes. It seems fine on SP1 based XP machines and other older OS's. I suppose I'd better figure out how to fix it then. Hmmmm. ;D
