Hi all:
Title says it all. Selling a Sony/Ericsson GC82 EDGE card. If you've dreamed about having Internet access just about anywhere, this card will do it.
If you're not familiar with this technology, it allows you to get a wireless Internet connection on your laptop, PDA, or similar, anywhere a cellular signal is available. Yes, that means even on the highway in your car.
Ericsson's page with info about the card is here:
http://www.sonyericsson.com/gc82/index.html
Rogers is selling them for approx. $400.00 plus taxes but only with long-term subscription to their service. Telus offers a similar deal.
Asking $150.00 plus taxes without any subscription obligation.
Includes external antenna and metal carry case. Does not include software CD, however software and documentation are available on Ericsson's website, Drivers are also available for Linux and Mac OS X.
The GC82 card should also be compatible with any GPRS network, including Fido's, and Telus' in Canada (Verizon and AT&T in U.S.A. for EDGE speeds, many others for low-speed GPRS.)
Thanks
