3com pcmcia wireless card cannot be used with netstumbler? alternatives?

okay i got netstumbler but it is saying my 3com card is unsupported...do i need to do something or is it just that netstumbler doesn't allow this kind of card? also, is there another similar program that will work with my 3com card?
